Hi.

Welcome to my scrapbook of recipes, travels and things I like.

It is only December 11th?

I don't know about you, but I may need a vacation from Christmas. In the past 11 days we have decorated the house, put up the tree, attended 3 parties, 1 holiday concert and made a dish for 1 office potluck. There are 4 more parties and a trip to Raleigh still ahead of us. No, I'm not done with my  Christmas shopping, thanks for asking.

I've managed to fit in a little bit of baking. No pictures, but here are the recipes that I will add to my "will make again" list:

1. Peanut Butter Cut Out Cookies (a nice alternative to sugar cookies).

2. Impressive Red Velvet Cake Roll. Don't let the amount of butter required for this recipe intimidate you.

And now for the photographic evidence of our holiday adventures...
