Full of Surprises
I never, ever, ever, ever, EVER thought that I would be a small business owner. Yet here I am.
No, I haven't completely lost my mind. I still have, and very much enjoy, my day job. However, I felt the need to register a Sole Proprietorship after receiving numerous requests from women for financial planning advice. After a few casual meetings, I soon found myself with an honest-to-goodness list of clients!
I'm finally at the point where I am ready to tell everyone about my little side gig. Plus my fancy new website is ready to go live and I'm eager to show it off.
I have found that most women need really basic financial advice. Unfortunately, most financial planners will not give you the time of day unless you have at least $500,000 in investable assets. That leaves a huge market of underserved individuals that still have significant financial needs. That is why I started my little business, to be a resource to those with limited resources.
Strange that I am completely comfortable sharing this project with complete strangers, but I cringe at sharing this with friends and family. That being said, I'm having fun with it and I am ready to share my new adventure with you.
